Just caught a 110lb Spinner with this rig, 50lb braid, Penn Battle II 8000 and 14ft Surf rod. Rig is just the right length to cast 6 oz & Bait.

Fished 2 days on surf with rough waves and 6 Oz sputnik. At times my weight was embedded in the sand from the beating it was taking. Took quite a bit of cranking to dig them out of the sand. NOT ONE FAILURE. I have recommended these to 2 other buyers already. Like I said before, BUY THESE. The first thing a helpful bystander who watched it all said was, "I can't believe you landed that on that pompano rig." I said, neither can I. Black Drum. 37 inches, 25.6 lbs. Took a lot of drag, and this rig held on through it all. The old man's biggest catch to date. I am so thankful and appreciative to the creator's of this rig!

Great bottom rig for all species offshore down here on the east coast of Florida. Caught lots of red snappers the first time out. I like to build my own, but these hassle free, fairly prices rigs get me out of the garage, in the boat and out to the fishing grounds with less hassle.

These are awesome lures for the price. Bounce them off the bottom for snook and redfish. These lures will coax strikes when the bite is slow. I’ve caught some real monsters with these lures before, and the string hooks are a huge plus. You’ll never lose a fish from a bent hook.
